Connectivity

FROM HANEDA AIRPORT (HND)

To travel by train from Haneda Airport (HND) to central Tokyo, passengers can use either the Tokyo Monorail or the Keikyū Line, both of which provide direct connections to major transportation hubs in the city. The Tokyo Monorail connects Haneda Airport to Hamamatsuchō Station, operates from early morning until late at night, and takes approximately 15 minutes. From Hamamatsuchō Station, travelers can transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to reach areas such as Tokyo Station, Shinjuku, or Shibuya. The Keikyū Line connects Haneda Airport to Shinagawa Station and operates frequently throughout the day. Some services continue directly onto subway lines. The travel time is approximately 15–20 minutes. From Shinagawa Station, passengers can transfer to JR lines or the Tokyo subway network to reach their destination.

FROM NARITA AIRPORT (NRT)

To travel by train from Narita Airport (NRT) to Tokyo, the most used services are the Narita Express (N’EX) and the Keisei Skyliner. The Narita Express provides direct connections to major stations including Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Shinagawa. It operates throughout the day, with a travel time of approximately 55–75 minutes. All seats are reserved, and the service is well suited for travelers with luggage. The Keisei Skyliner connects Narita Airport with Ueno and Nippori Stations and operates frequently. The journey takes approximately 40–50 minutes. From Ueno or Nippori Stations, passengers can transfer to JR lines or subway services to continue their journey within Tokyo.

AIRPORT BUSES (BOTH AIRPORTS)

Limousine bus services operate from both Haneda and Narita Airports and provide direct access to major hotels and key stations across Tokyo. This option is particularly convenient for travelers with heavy luggage. Travel times vary depending on traffic conditions.

HOW TO GET TO NIPPON MEDICAL SCHOOL

From Tokyo Station or Otemachi Station, there are several convenient ways to reach Nippon Medical School by public transportation. One option is to use the subway via the Toei Mita Line or the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line. Passengers may take the Toei Mita Line toward Meguro and get off at Hakusan Station or alternatively take the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line toward Akabane-Iwabuchi and get off at Todaimae Station. From either station, the campus can be reached on foot in approximately 8–10 minutes.

Another subway option is to travel via the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line. From Otemachi or Tokyo Station, take the Chiyoda Line toward Yoyogi-Uehara and get off at Sendagi Station. From Sendagi Station, the campus is about a 7–10 minute walk.

For a more direct journey, taxis are also available from central Tokyo. A taxi ride from the Tokyo Station or Otemachi area to Nippon Medical School typically takes around 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Several subway stations are located within walking distance of Nippon Medical School and may be convenient depending on the direction of travel. These include Todai-mae Station on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line (approximately a 5-minute walk), Sendagi Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line (approximately 7–10 minutes on foot), Hon-Komagome Station on the Namboku Line (about an 8-minute walk), Nezu Station on the Chiyoda Line (around 7 minutes on foot), and Hakusan Station on the Toei Mita Line (approximately a 10-minute walk).

In addition to trains and subways, Toei bus services such as the Ue-58 and Higashi-43 lines stop near the campus at “Mukōgaoka-itchōme” or “Sendagi-ni-chōme.” From these bus stops, the school is only a short walk away.

For travel within Tokyo, Suica and PASMO IC cards can be used on all trains, subways, and buses. Navigation applications such as Google Maps or NAVITIME Transit provide reliable, door-to-door directions, including transfer and platform information. Taxi fares from Tokyo Station to Nippon Medical School generally range from approximately ¥2,000 to ¥3,000, depending on traffic.
